It's Monday, and it snowed last night, and it's not a very pretty day. All of the permit applications have been submitted, we're waiting on the well permit to come back, and everything is here from Wells Fargo for any future draws. There's not much construction that can happen until permits arrive, and while the septic permit will be here in a few days, the building permit will take a couple of weeks (George said that they were REALLY slow when he was there). I can't imagine that the well permit will take much more time, and the driller is on stand-by. George has it all located and flagged so it's time for hurry up and wait.
Bids are coming in for all of the secondary work (cabinets, etc) and we'll have all of those contractors under contract very soon. I'm still well-pleased with the progress.
We are supposed to be getting more snow the second half of the week, so hopefully I'll get some pictures for you. Take care and have a great Monday evening!

We heard on Sunday about a big storm hitting the CO mountains. Was there much snow? Regarding the driveway, we drive down it twice in Nov, so we kinda get the idea from your photo. The pictures are helpful and we love checking them out. We know its work to get them all uploaded but feel free to add lots. Can you ever do video too? Looking forward to your next post. V&K
ReplyDeleteYeah, we got snow, but only a trace. THey say that we're supposed to get a big storm by the end of the week, which is OK with me because its dry as dust around here. We have two 50 gallon aquariums that lose two inches a week, AND run a humidifier 24/7 and it's still too dry for me. Regarding the video, I can try. I have an mpeg option on my camera and can load those to this site, but I don't know how to do it with the big video camera.
ReplyDeleteoh, and regarding the 'work' to load the additional pics, I'm actually getting pretty good at it, so it's no trouble at all. It used to take a lot longer.
ReplyDeleteMore pics- yay! We started playing around with a family website (it's true- it really is fun) and are getting more savvy with uploading pictures and video. If you want to try video, probably using the mpeg option on your camera is the best best for short clips (<1 min.) that are easier and quicker to view online.
ReplyDeleteWhat time of year is usually the driest out there? Do spring storms or summer rains provide a reprieve?
