You're very welcome!
(I tried to post this as a response to your comment, but it wouldn't let me) I am really enjoying this blog, so it's my pleasure. I'm glad you enjoy it too! When I say 'frost wall' I am referring to the 30" wall buried under the ground level. Building code requires that you have a minimum of 30" below grade level. Most of the house has more than 30" below grade (because of the backfill) but the front wall and parts of the sides need the frost wall to go down. The garage door area for instance. The bottom of the rest of the house is a footer with a wall on top of it. It's a lot easier to describe with pictures (which reminds me I need to send the kitchen pictures tomorrow.... oops). When I watch my videos your driveway looks a lot longer. It really hasn't changed (except for that corner) since you were here, must be the super wide lens. Aahhh, the snow. We're up to 2' right now, and it's still coming down. The bright side is that as soon as it quits snowing, it starts disappearing. The skiing is fantastic right now. I thought about stepping outside and taking a picture right now (11:41 p.m.) and then again tomorrow. It's supposed to snow until afternoon, but we'll see. I had to take a friend to Denver today in the snow, which was no problems, but George was concerned that they close roads and I get stuck where I am. That would be a bummer, but I noticed that during my trip the clouds would clear for a moment, like a little window, and the roads cleared right up. Even to the point of 'dry' It was pretty strange. I'll let you know tomorrow the final accumulation.
